Northern Alps Art Festival 2024 Welcomes Katya Muromtseva's Shadow Puppet Videos

We are excited to announce that Katya Muromtseva will be featured in the Northern Alps Art Festival this fall. Held every three years in Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture, this contemporary art festival takes place amidst the breathtaking peaks of the Northern Alps. The upcoming Northern Alps Art Festival 2024 will showcase site-specific works by both Japanese and international artists. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the festival's unique blend of pristine, melted snow, crisp mountain air, vibrant seasonal landscapes, and local culinary delights.

Katya Muromtseva will present three shadow puppet videos inspired by the fairy tales she wrote in Japan. These works will add an enchanting dimension to the festival experience.
